Privacy Policy
LC LOGISTICS SERVICES INC.
1. Introduction
1.1 About Us
LC LOGISTICS SERVICES INC. (together with its affiliates, "LC Logistics" or "we") is a logistics provider operating warehousing and logistics facilities in North America. This Policy explains what personal information we collect, why, how we use, share, and protect it, and the rights you have.
1.2 Applicable Law and Territorial Scope
Our services are directed primarily to business customers in the United States. This Policy is drafted with reference to U.S. federal and state privacy laws, principally the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
1.3 Our Legal Roles
Personal information handler. For contacts of (prospective) customers, account holders, job applicants, and website visitors, we determine the purposes and means of processing and bear all handler obligations, including notification, consent, security, and rights requests.
Entrusted handler. For consignee information provided by our customers (sellers or consignors) when entrusting transportation, warehousing, or customs clearance, we process only per the customer's instructions and the entrusted-processing contract, never for our own marketing. Consignees should direct access, correction, and deletion requests to the seller first, or contact us under Section 14; we will assist within legal and contractual limits and may forward the request to the customer.
2. Scope
This Policy covers personal information collected through: our website https://www.lcwarehouses.com/ and related portals and tools; sales, customer support, and account management; warehousing, fulfillment, and freight services; warehouse facilities (visitor logs and CCTV in areas with conspicuous notices); and recruitment. It covers website visitors; customers and prospective customers; consignors and consignees (whose data our customers provide when entrusting transportation and warehousing); suppliers, carriers, and partners; and job applicants. Third-party sites linked from ours are governed by their own policies.

3.2 Automatic Collection
We automatically collect device and connection data (IP address, browser and version, operating system, language, device identifiers), usage data (pages, features, clicks, dwell time, referring URL, search terms, download errors), and session data (response times, load errors, exit method), using cookies and similar technologies (Section 5).
3.3 Other Sources
We may combine your information with data from carriers and delivery partners (address correction, delivery updates); customs authorities (declarations); credit and anti-fraud agencies (creditworthiness, fraud prevention); and affiliates and business partners (as permitted by law).
4. Use of Information
We use personal information to: provide warehousing, fulfillment, freight, customs clearance, inventory, and returns services; respond to inquiries, quotations, support requests, and disputes; administer accounts, billing, collections, and audits; improve our website and services; with consent (where required), send marketing — every message carries an unsubscribe, we offer non-personalized options where automated decision-making drives marketing, and we honor TCPA prior-consent rules for U.S. consumer calls and texts; prevent fraud and protect facilities, systems, and data; comply with customs, tax, transport, and other legal obligations and enforce agreements; evaluate applications and manage recruitment; and generate aggregated statistics for analysis (anonymized data is not personal information; de-identified data remains personal information and stays protected under this Policy).
Legal bases. In the U.S., we follow notice, purpose limitation, and opt-out: we disclose the categories, purposes, and retention of personal information at or before collection, use it only for the notified purposes, and offer opt-outs for targeted advertising, sale, and significant automated decisions (Sections 10.1–10.2). Incompatible new purposes require your prior consent.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies (pixels, web beacons, local storage). Non-essential cookies are placed only after consent via our banner, where you may adjust or withdraw consent at any time; browser settings and industry portals such as www.aboutads.info and www.networkadvertising.org offer further control. Disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.
| Category | Purpose | Consent required |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Core functions only: sessions, security, load balancing, form submission; never analytics or advertising; cannot be disabled | No |
| Preference | Remember settings such as language | Yes |
| Statistics | Measure and improve site performance via analytics tools | Yes |
| Marketing | Deliver and measure our own advertising | Yes |
| Unclassified | Pending classification | Yes (precautionary) |
6. Information Sharing
We do not sell personal information for money or other valuable consideration, nor disclose it for third parties' own direct marketing, except as below or with your consent. If we deploy cross-context behavioral advertising pixels, that may constitute "sharing" under California law; we would then offer a "Do Not Share" option in our banner and honor Global Privacy Control signals.
We share only as necessary with:
| Recipient | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Affiliates and subsidiaries | Internal business purposes; consistent service across our network |
| Service providers | Cloud hosting, IT security, CRM, email delivery, payment processing, analytics, professional services — under confidentiality and data protection contracts |
| Logistics and delivery partners | Carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouse partners — to perform entrusted transportation, warehousing, or clearance |
| Customs and government authorities | Import/export declarations, compliance, lawful requests |
| Professional advisors | Legal, accounting, insurance, audit |
| Business transfers | In mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, or asset sales, customer data may transfer as a business asset; the recipient remains bound by handler obligations, and changed purposes or means require renewed consent |
| Legal and security purposes | Law enforcement, courts, regulators, or others — as required by law, to enforce agreements, or to protect rights, property, or safety |
| With your consent | Any third party you direct |
7. Cross-Border Transfers
We are incorporated and operate principally in the United States; personal information may be processed and stored there and in other countries where we or our providers or partners operate, under laws that may differ from yours. We require overseas recipients to protect personal information to a standard no lower than this Policy, minimize transfers, bind recipients by contract, and retain audit rights.
8. Data Security
We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — access controls, encryption in transit and at rest where appropriate, training, and incident response — and continuously refine them per legal requirements and risk, including internal policies, data classification, encryption and de-identification, defined permissions, staff training, and contingency plans. No online transmission is fully secure; report concerns or suspected incidents via Section 14.
8.1 Incident Response
On any leakage, alteration, or loss of personal information, we will immediately remediate and notify affected individuals and, where required by applicable law, the relevant authorities — describing the data types involved, the cause, the potential harm, our remediation measures, and the steps you can take to protect yourself. We may omit individual notice where harm is effectively avoided, unless the authorities require notice.
9. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as law requires (tax, accounting, customs, disputes, contract enforcement), and per customer instructions for entrusted data; thereafter it is deleted or anonymized. Typical periods:
| Category | Retention |
|---|---|
| Customer and prospect contact data | Relationship plus 3 years |
| Account, billing, tax records | 7 years (U.S. tax and accounting requirements) |
| Customs documents | 5 years from importation (19 CFR Part 163) |
| Freight and inventory data | Per customer instruction; absent agreement, 2 years after service completion |
| Visitor logs and CCTV | 30–90 days |
| Job applications | 6–12 months after recruitment ends (longer only with consent for a talent pool) |
| Cookie data | Per Section 5 retention periods |
10. Privacy Rights
10.1 General Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to: access and know (categories, sources, purposes, recipient categories, and a copy); correct; delete (subject to exceptions such as statutory duties, national or public security, criminal justice, or lawful processing of lawfully public data — any refusal will be explained with reasons and remedies); portability in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format; restrict or object to processing; opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and significant automated decisions (Section 10.2); and withdraw consent at any time. We verify identity, collect only necessary verification data, respond within legal deadlines, and never discriminate for rights requests. Contact us per Section 14.
10.2 California Residents
Under the CCPA/CPRA you may: know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected; delete; correct; opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell, and if we deploy behavior-advertising pixels constituting "sharing," we will provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link and honor Global Privacy Control signals; limit use and disclosure of sensitive personal information; and act through a verified authorized agent with written proof of authority. We do not discriminate for rights requests. In the past 12 months we may have collected: identifiers; commercial information; internet activity; geolocation data; audio or visual information (CCTV); employment-related data; and sensitive personal information (government-issued IDs, financial accounts) — as needed for services and compliance. Retention by category: Section 9; sources and recipients: Sections 3 and 6. Submit requests via the channels listed in Section 14.
10.3 Other U.S. States
Comprehensive privacy laws are in force in, among others, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Florida, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky, and Rhode Island. Verify current status at each update. Qualifying residents generally have access, correction, deletion, and portability rights; opt-outs for targeted advertising, sale, and significant automated decisions; and an appeal of refusals — we will honor these as required, explaining reasons and appeal routes.
11. Minors
Our services target businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (COPPA); before selling or sharing data of known 13-to-15-year-olds, we obtain affirmative opt-in consent as state laws require. Report underage data to us for verification and deletion.
12. Third-Party Links
Linked third-party sites are outside this Policy and governed by their own policies, which we recommend you read. Joint processing or sharing with such parties is handled per Section 6.
13. Changes
We update this Policy as practices, technology, or law change, revising the "Last Updated" date and, for material changes, notifying by email or prominent website notice.
